Will the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine protect my pet?

The Bordetella vaccine will help prevent kennel cough however as with any vaccine nothing is a 100 percent. Viruses often mutate as well making the effectiveness vary.

Do you require Flu shot?

Although it is not required at our facility it is highly recommended by many veterinarians.

Can I just drop off my pet?

You must be an established client with the proper paperwork and vaccine on file in order to drop off your pet.

How long do they play each day?

A Typical day is 4.5hrs to 7 hr. each day depending on the needs and tolerance of each pup and whether or not you utilize our transportation.

What is Dog daycare?

Dog daycare is where your pet comes and stays for the day to receive physical and mental stimulation and engage in socialization with other pups.

Do you give tours of the facility?

Tours are typically given at the time of a temperament test. However you may call to schedule this separately.

At what age can my dog start daycare?

As soon as you pup has all sets of its vaccines which is typically at 16 weeks of age.

What is a temperament test?

A temperament test is where we assess your pets demeanor in a group setting with water bowls and toys as well as check their tolerance in our accommodations when separated from the owners.

What is a meet and greet?

A meet-and-greet is when one of the staff comes to your home to get a rundown of a typical day for your pet for home services such as pet sitting or dog walking.

What vaccinations are required for my pet to use your services?

Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella, and a Clean fecal test within the last year.

Are dogs supervised in playgroup?

Dogs are always supervised in playgroup.

Does my pet need to be spayed or neutered?

All pets must be altered by the time they reach one year of age. It is important to note that a female's heat cycle will generally start around 6 to 8 months at which time your pet would have to stay home for approximately one month.

Can my pet get injured and or catch an illness/disease?

Just like kids on a playground when engaged in physical activities and socialization it is always possible bumps, bruises scratches, and scuffles and illnesses may occur.

What do I need to bring if my pet is boarding?

We provide water bowls food bowls and elevated cots, we request that you bring your pets food and a comfort of home i.e. favorite toy or a shirt that that smells of home.

What is your staff to dog ratio?

Our ratio is one handler per 15 dogs

What happens to the dogs in inclement weather?

The dogs are rotated inside and out to ensure they are still properly exercised in shielded from elements.

What is the schedule for the dogs on the weekend?

Weekends vary depending on how many dogs are on site and since the weekend is when we do deep detailed cleaning of our facility.

What kind of animals do board?

At this time we only board dogs, we provide in home services for all other kinds of pets.
